Chaos is unpredictable, but unlike randomness there is a rule behind the behaviour. This short project attempted to design such chaos.
Our group printed a pair of pages from a juvenile novel in thin-outlined typo and hung on the wall. In the presentation, people coloured in their favourite letters with coloured pencils.
Since the behaviour of the participants, like all human activity, is unpredictable but ruled, a chaotic pattern slowly appeared on the papers. The installation was also documented in video to show the procession of chaos.
